Anxiety and Panic Specialist

I am trained in an embodied approach to understanding anxiety and panic from the root cause. This means instead of simply treating and managing the symptoms of anxiety, we will work together to understand how anxiety shows up specifically for you and get to the root cause of the problem.

- Trained by Shauna Quigley: Anxiety and Panic Programme

DBT: Dialectal Behavioural Therapy

I have been trained in DBT skills and often teach these to clients who struggle to manage intense and overwhelming emotion. DBT is an evidence based form of therapy that focuses on developing mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. DBT skills help you to master your emotions, building confidence and resilience within yourself.

AMDR - Trauma Informed Therapy

I am a fully trained AMDR practitioner. AMDR is a trauma-informed therapeutic intervention. It combines the very best from traditional EMDR, Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, Somatic Psychotherapy, Tapping, Breathing, Parts integration and NLP.

- Trained by Joshua Isaac Smith and Gill Wood

Cognitive Hypnotherapy - The Quest Institute

I am a Quest trained Cognitive Hypnotherapist. QCH Therapy is an evidence based therapy used to both manage difficult feelings and also get to the root cause of them. In the double blind peer-reviewed Mental Health Review Journal, a 2015 pilot study showed 71% of clients with anxiety and depression considered themselves recovered after an average of 4 sessions of QCH Therapy. This compared to an average of 42% for other approaches using the same measures (like CBT alone). I was trained by Trevor Silvester, founder of the Quest Institute and author of Wordweaving.

BSc Psychology

I graduated from Royal Holloway University of London in Psychology Bsc. During my degree I took a keen interest in mental heath and thus studied and researched Adult Psychological Problems and Interventions, Developmental Psychology and the neuroscience of emotion further. This informs my practice as a therapist and I often draw on my knowledge of neuroscience to help clients understand their mind.
